Distribution of Flood Relief Supplies to Villagers and Government Agencies

In February 2025, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, ESSB implemented a flood relief distribution program to aid communities affected by seasonal floods in the Kemaman area. Essential daily items such as food and basic necessities were distributed to residents at Surau Haji Jaafar, Kijal and Balairaya Kampung Pondok Pasir, Ibok, with the support and coordination of the Penghulu from the Kemaman District Office. This initiative aimed to ease the burden of flood-affected villagers and exemplify ESSB’s ongoing concern and responsibility toward the local community’s welfare.

In addition to supporting the villagers, ESSB also distributed flood relief supplies to government agencies that were directly involved in managing flood emergencies. These included Majlis Perbandaran Kemaman (MPK), the Kemaman District Police Headquarters (IPD), and the Kemaman Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba). The contribution served as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work in safeguarding the public during times of crisis. This initiative reflects ESSB’s commitment to collaborating with local authorities and contributing meaningfully to community resilience and emergency response efforts.
