20 Jan，the delegates from Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI)，Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Royal Malaysian Customs Department and Ministry of Finance Malaysia were visited ESSB for researching on ESSB’s production and operating status and development planning. ESSB Director Dato' Tee Choon Hock D.P.M.T. and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Tan Seng Keong were received the guests.

First, Dato Tee on behalf of ESSB to expressed the appreciation to Malaysian government departments for caring and supporting ESSB ever since a long time ago. He said that: ESSB has put a lot of efforts on Malaysia steel industry, keep adhering the concept of openness and cooperation. We always maintain close contact with government departments and every sector of society, and make contributions on local economic development, employment and training of metallurgical talents. The technological innovation is always the cdriving force for ESSB’s development, especially in the 1450mm Hot Rolling Mill Project. By introducing advanced technologies among the world, the product quality, energy consumption and production costs of 1450mm Hot Rolling Mill Project has reached international levels. At the same time, ESSB also dedicated to fulfill the corporate social responsibility by actively supports community development and cultural integration. It has won the praises from government and the public.
