Eastern Steel Sdn. Bhd. ( “ESSB" ) is located at Kemaman, Terengganu state on the East Coast of West Peninsular of Malaysia. It was jointly invested by Beijing Jianlong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. ( "Jianlong Group" ) and Hiap Teck Venture Bhd. ( "HTVB" ). ESSB was built on an industrial land measuring 1209 acre, it is a comprehensive steel joint enterprise which consist of production process such as coke, sintering, iron making, steel making, ferroalloy and power generation. . ESSB have an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of coke, 120,000 tons of ferroalloy, 2.52 million tons of pig iron, and 2.7 million tons of billets and slab. The principal activities of ESSB are manufacturing, selling and dealing in a range of steel product.
